The purpose of this observational (research of disease origin, pattern, and spread) study is to gain a better understanding of how iAMD (intermediate age-related macular degeneration) progresses into more advanced stages of the disease. Currently, there is no approved or effective treatment for iAMD. However, clinical trials have shown that nutritional supplements can potentially reduce the risk of iAMD worsening to advanced AMD. No treatment for iAMD will be given in this research study, although you will be allowed to receive nutritional supplements outside of this study. About 400 people aged 50 to 95 will take part in this study.
